The newly designed leisure park in Rust am Neusiedlersee is a flagship for innovative sports infrastructure in Austria. In addition to a fun court and an outdoor fitness court, the first asphalt pump track was realised in Burgenland. The facility, designed and implemented by Balzamico Trail Design, extends over 1000 square metres and offers users maintenance-free driving pleasure all year round. Specially adapted curve radii and wave combinations provide the necessary momentum to "pump" your way through the course. Coordinative and conditional training are in the foreground. Similar to the "Ski-Cross"; the aim of such a pump track is to move forward only by rhythmically loading and unloading the arms and legs. However, the asphalt surface serves a much larger target group than conventional BMX earthmoving tracks. Whether with skateboards, inline skates, scooters, micro scooters, BMX or mountain bikes; all users of all ages and abilities will get their money's worth on just one course.
